Members must adhere to our codes of ethics, safe practice, disciplinary and appeals procedures, CPD, practitioner local authority licensing, advertising standards, data protection and insurance requirements.                                <\/p>\n<p>We have a variety of members who practice different forms of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Oriental Massage and auxiliary techniques.                                <\/p>\n<p>Some Traditional Acupuncturists also practice Chinese Herbal Medicine and there are Herbal practitioners who do not practice Acupuncture or may also practice Tuina or Acupressure.                                <\/p>\n<p>We also have a variety of Oriental massage members these include: Acupressure, Tuina, Korean Hand , Meridian Stretch, Oriental, Thai, Japanese.                                <\/p>\n<p>Many of our practitioners also use Moxibustion, Cupping, Electro stimulation, Herbal Balms and Poultice and Gua Sha                                <\/p>\n<p>As our members are multi disciplined training requirements vary and are specific to each discipline                                <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Traditional Acupuncture \u2013 1 year training with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Traditional Herbalists \u2013 2 years training with level 3 A&amp;P and Knowledge of Individual herb prescriptions<\/p>\n<p>Traditional Acupuncture and Herbalists \u2013 2 years training with level 3 A&amp;P and Knowledge of Individual herb prescriptions<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auricular Acupuncture:<\/strong>                                <\/p>\n<p>Auricular Detox \u2013 2 days training, annual skills verification, open to detox, prison service, stress management and psychology workers<\/p>\n<p>Auricular Pain \u2013 4 days training, must be a bodyworker, therapist or acupuncturist with level 3 A&amp;P, subject to annual skills verification<\/p>\n<p>Auricular Health \u2013 8 days training, must be a bodywork or therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Use Acupuncture:<\/strong>                                <\/p>\n<p>Orthopaedic\/Musculo skeletal \u2013 6 month training,  bodyworkers, physiotherapists, osteopaths or acupuncturists, level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Spinal Acupuncture  \u2013 Diploma level,  annual skills verification, bodyworkers, physiotherapists, osteopaths or acupuncturists, level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Cosmetic for Beauticians \u2013 level 2 anatomy and beautician with thread vien training<\/p>\n<p>Cosmetic for Acupuncturists \u2013 traditional acupuncture, auricular diploma, state registered health professional<\/p>\n<p>Korean hand Acupuncture \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chinese and Oriental Massage Therapists:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Acupressure Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Korean Hand Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Tuina Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Thai Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Japanese Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Oriental Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P<\/p>\n<p>Meridian Stretch Massage \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auxiliary Therapies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Body Cupping \u2013 must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>Moxa- must be a bodywork therapist with level 3 A&amp;P <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further Queries on Admissions<\/strong>                                <\/p>\n<p>If your training falls short of our entrance requirement, is specialised and not covered here or documentation is lacking due to a variety of reasons<\/p>\n<p>Please contact us for advice what would be required for admission <\/p>\n<p>Where there is doubt about an application, we may invite you to an interview with our admissions department, there is a fee of \u00a350 for this option<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p>\n                                  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/body>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ethos of our Society is to promote professionalism and health and safety practice to our members who are practising &hellip;
