The Acupuncture Society has negotiated a very competitive premium for Malpractice/Professional Indemnity/Public/Products Liability Insurance with Holistic Insurance Services for our members.

The standard limit of indemnity is £5,000,000.

The cost to cover Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping is (includes Cosmetic, Orthopaedic and Spinal Acupuncture) £70.00.

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine or Chinese Herbal Medicine only is £83.25

Qi Gong, Tui Na or Auricular Acupuncture is £46.50

you will be asked for your Acupuncture Society Membership Number which you will need to fill in on the form, if you are considering joining the society and want to know in principle that you will be covered prior to joining please call the number below and ask for rose pickett stating that you wish to join the Acupuncture Society and want to confirm that you would be elegible for cover as an Acupuncture Society member

 

Non Acupuncturists such as Doctors, Physiotherapist,Osteopaths, Nurses, Beauticians and other therapists seeking cover to practice Cosmetic Acupuncture to complement thier primary therapy need to have minimum Anatomy and Physiology level 2 and need to be already have insurance cover for thier primary therapy

 

CCM STUDENT INSURANCE COVER

 

Student insurance which will cover you for work carried out during student assignments or during class also it can be modified to full practice insurance after you have qualified please call the number below stating that you are on a College of Chinese Medicine course and speak to Rose Pickett

 

after you recieve your course certificate you can apply to the acupuncture society for verified membership

status then you can quote your membership number to Holistic insurance who will upgrade your policy to a full practitioner policy
