Disclaimer

Whilst we endeavor to maintain an accurate record of registered members due to the periodic updates required our published records may from time to time be out-of-date. If you have any doubts or queries about a practitioner please confirm with that practitioner that their insurance and membership status is up-to-date or contact the society for confirmation of their current verified membership status.

The society accepts no liability resulting from treatments given by individual member practitioners, however all verified practitioners are voluntarily bound by the society's code of ethics and any complaints can be emailed to the society for investigation. Practitioners undergoing disciplinary procedures may be suspended or removed from the register pending the outcome of any disciplinary action. Although many of our practitioners operating in the London local authorities area are excepted from special treatment licensing.

Each individual practitioner must contact the local environmental health authority to confirm that they are excepted within their particular area. If any practitioners are unable to claim exception in their area they are obliged to obtain a special treatments license from their local environmental health authority at their local council. The society accepts no liability where this procedure has not been followed by a member practitioner.

The Society does not accept any resposabilty for changes in the legal requirements of practice as this is a matter for government and regulators, society members are required to abide by the law and to comply with any legal requirements of practice relating to the county or areas where they are in practice.
